What are your passions you wish to share through micro‑museums?

Wrote my medical dissertation about Thomas Mann - which threw me during many years into the exciting era of the beginning of the 20th century. Visited the Bauhaus in Dessau 1990 - right after former East Germany opened up. The Bauhaus movement fascinated me a lot, both regarding the design style and the underlying new ideas about society and lifestyle. It was a starting point for wanting to learn more and more about architecture, design, history and the interesting “Zeitgeist“ (= spirit of the time) of the period between 1910-1940.

What would you love to dive deeper into on MagnificentH?

Especially interested of Thomas Mann (his person, family and contemporaries such as his œuvre), Bauhaus, Thonet furniture, Art Deco, Jugendstil, Bloomsbury and the development of society, culture and arts during the early 1900s. Obsessed with Berlin Babylon (Netflix).
