Tribute to Art Nouveau and bistro heritage at Levantine
Levantine is like an escape to Paris but in the heart of Gothenburg. Located in Vasastaden, this bistro stands out as a charming French spot that transports not only diners to the streets of Paris - but also Art Nouveau aesthetes and enthusiasts of authentic French cuisine. Already from the outdoor setting, the restaurant's interior design is projecting French charm and sophistication with key elements of the decor including: - classic bistro-style seating rooms with Thonet chairs and cozy bistro tables - vintage posters and artwork on the walls - tiles in patterns and colours typical for a bistro design - lights by Swedish interior designer Jonas Bohlin mixed with typical curvy lampettes of Art Nouveau period - mirrors and brass elements throughout the venue add light and ambiance and accentuate a warm and inviting atmosphere The attention to detail in the design extends beyond the table settings, with elegant and unusual open space designed bathroom section located on mezzanine floor. Crisp white linens and elegant tableware complete the authentic French dining experience. Designer studio behind this remarkable restaurant's project?
