The Winter Show's 72nd edition 2026, at the Park Avenue Armory, brought together more than 70 international dealers presenting museum-quality works spanning fine and decorative arts, antiques, jewelry, and design, with first-time exhibitors including Galerie Cahn (Ancient Greek, Etruscan, and Roman art), Greg Pepin Silver (Georg Jensen), and Rose Uniacke (17th- to 20th-century design) joining stalwarts such as A La Vieille Russie, Hirschl & Adler, Joan B. Mirviss, Ralph M. Chait Galleries, James Robinson Inc., S.J. Shrubsole, and The Old Print Shop. This edition's programming leaned on a notably large Design Council, with Heidi Caillier, Noz Nozawa, Ben Pentreath, Jane Keltner de Valle, and Giancarlo Valle serving as co-chairs to help bridge the antique inventory on the floor with contemporary interiors practice. A standout installation, "The Discerning Eye: Study of a Young Collector," curated by Patrick Monahan with Helen Allen, recreated the private study of an imaginary collector to explore how taste and curiosity shape collecting, while the talks track included sessions like "Designing Tomorrow: The Power of the Maker's Touch," presented in partnership with The Drawing Foundation and Master Drawings New York.
