OKUBO​,​ Tome

Immigrated in 1920 through Seattle. [The note “1918?” is written beneath the year 1920.] I spent three years in camp and then came to New York. We were treated very well in the camp. We lacked nothing. I returned to Japan three times, but life is better here. Because life is better here, no matter how many times I go back, I always return. I now live with my daughter. I have three grandchildren.
