Focus​/​16 at the Chelsea Design Centre

The Chelsea Design Centre—more formally known as the Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour—was one of London’s most influential destinations for interior design in 2016. Throughout the year, the centre served as a hub for designers, architects, decorators, and manufacturers, bringing together more than 100 showrooms and hundreds of international brands under its distinctive glass-domed complex. Events such as London Design Week in March and Focus​/​16 during the London Design Festival showcased new collections, innovative materials, luxury furnishings, textiles, lighting, and decorative accessories, reinforcing Chelsea Harbour’s reputation as a leading source of contemporary interior design inspiration. In September 2016, Focus​/​16 became one of the highlights of the London Design Festival, attracting industry professionals and design enthusiasts from around the world. The event featured more than 600 international brands, designer presentations, and curated exhibitions exploring the relationship between art and interiors. New initiatives encouraged dialogue between makers, designers, and visitors, while the centre’s expanded Design Centre East showcased emerging talent alongside established names.
