First-Metaverse Architecture Biennale

The Metaverse Architecture Biennale (MAB) is a groundbreaking event at the intersection of architecture, design, and emerging technology. Launched in 2023 under the theme "Presence of the Future," it was conceived as a pioneering force bringing together top creators worldwide to explore the significance of architecture and design in reshaping Web3 and the Metaverse as a platform for business and creativity. Inspired by the Venice Biennale and Expo, MAB showcases virtual pavilions and worlds designed by architects at the avant-garde of digital design, including internationally recognized firms. Hosted across two distinct metaverse platforms — Decentraland and W3rlds — with each participating architect creating one installation per platform, the event produced more than 60 immersive spaces in total.
