Affordable Art Fair Spring 2026
The Spring 2026 edition of the Affordable Art Fair already took place in March in New York, marking its biggest spring showing yet and its debut at the Starrett-Lehigh Building in Chelsea. As New York City's leading destination for contemporary art under $12,000, the fair brought together 90 galleries from around the world, showcasing thousands of contemporary artworks by emerging and established artists. Paintings, photography, prints, sculpture, and mixed-media works were displayed. The emphasis was on relief art. A centerpiece special exhibition called "Sight Unseen: How Photography Shapes Perception" focused on the evolving medium of photography, examining how artists use new image-making technologies and alternative processes to push the medium into sculpture and time-based art forms. Programming also included special access hours, like a Wednesday evening "First Look" preview. Exhibitors included galleries from New York, Brooklyn, London, Paris, Los Angeles, and other international art centers, showcasing diverse artistic voices and styles.
