The Planetarium at the Museum of Natural History and Science

The Planetarium at the National Museum of Natural History and Science (MUHNAC) formed an important part of the museum’s science education program, introducing visitors to astronomy, celestial navigation, and the structure of the universe through immersive presentations. Located within the historic science complex on Rua da Escola Politécnica, the planetarium complemented the museum’s collections of scientific instruments, natural history specimens, and educational exhibitions.
