Home Design & Art Show NY 2013
The Home Design & Art Show in New York in 2013 reflected the growing intersection between interior design, contemporary art, and luxury living. Held at Pier 94 as part of the annual Architectural Digest Home Design Show, the event brought together more than 420 exhibitors and hundreds of premium brands, showcasing furniture, lighting, kitchen and bath innovations, decorative objects, and fine art. Designers, architects, and collectors showed new products and emerging trends that emphasized craftsmanship, sustainability, and modern living. A notable aspect of the 2013 edition was its emphasis on education and dialogue. The show featured presentations by leading figures in architecture, interior design, and the arts. Special exhibitions such as DIFFA’s Dining by Design demonstrated how artistic creativity could transform everyday environments into immersive experiences.
