The museum underwent a significant evolution, changing its name in 2002 to reflect its increasingly interdisciplinary collections and programming, and it has grown into a dynamic space that champions the intersection of fine art and skilled making. Situated on Columbus Circle, MAD offers new ways of experiencing and telling stories about craft, art, and design.
