Star Wars Jorge Jimenez collection

In November 2015, El Corte Inglés in Lisbon hosted the *Star Wars Universe* exhibition, on display on the 7th Floor between November 14, 2015, and January 3, 2016. The exhibit featured over 100 square meters dedicated to hundreds of exclusive pieces from the saga's universe—the result of the collecting efforts of Jorge Jimenez, a passionate fan of the saga created by George Lucas for over 30 years. Jorge Jimenez and his compatriot Alfredo Calles are two Spanish collectors who, over the past few decades, have acquired items related to the saga; they first showcased the collection in Spain before deciding to bring it to Lisbon. Highlights of the exhibition included a replica of Darth Vader's original helmet from *Episode III: Revenge of the Sith*, signed by actor Hayden Christensen, and a two-meter-wide diorama of the *Millennium Falcon* escaping the Death Star—an initiative that arrived in perfect sync with the anticipation surrounding the theatrical premiere of *Episode VII* in December of that same year.
