Stories at the Lycée Masséna
The Lycée Masséna in Nice is much more than an educational institution. It's a stunning showcase of Belle Époque architectural beauty with delicate Art Nouveau details. Designed by architect Henri Ebrard and rebuilt between 1909 and 1931, the building is decorated with colorful roof tiles, intricate mosaics and ornate ironwork that capture the elegance and creativity of the era. Art Nouveau’s flowing lines and nature-inspired motifs shine throughout the façade. Lots of decorative friezes and sculpted stonework blend harmoniously with the building’s architecture. It is a living testament to Nice’s rich heritage amidst the city’s vibrant modern life.
